The 4th-day session of a five-day training course titled ‘Shariah Audit of Islamic Banking Operations’ jointly organized by the Central Shariah Board for Islamic Banks of Bangladesh (CSBIB) and Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), was held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the CSB Training Institute, Kakrail, Dhaka.

The inaugural session of the day was addressed by Mr. Syed Waseque Md Ali, Managing Director, First Security Islami Bank PLC, and Mr. Syed Sakhawatul Islam, Ph.D. Vice President & In-charge (Admin), CSBIB.

The resource persons who lectured in the training course included Dr. Md. Mahabbat Hossain, CSAA, CIPA, Associate Professor, BIBM & Academic Advisor of CSBIB, and Mr. Mezbah Uddin Ahmed, FCCA, CSAA, CIPA, Research Fellow, International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) Research Management Centre, INCEIF University, Malaysia & Research Advisor of CSBIB.

The closing remarks were made by Mr. Md. Abdullah Sharif, CIPA, CSAA, Secretary General, CSBIB.

The session was coordinated by Dr. Md. Mahabbat Hossain, CSAA, CIPA, Associate Professor, BIBM as well as Mr. Syed Sakhawatul Islam, Ph.D. Vice President & In-charge (Admin), CSBIB, and Mr. Md. Abdullah Al-Faruque, CSAA, Principal Officer, CSBIB.
