The 2nd day of a 5-day training course titled ‘Shariah Audit of Islamic Banking Operations’ jointly organized by CSBIB & BIBM was held on June 9, 2024 Sunday in the CSB Training Institute, Kakrail, Dhaka.

The program was inaugurated through recitation from the holy Quran. Opening remarks were given by Mr. Zafar Alam, Managing Director & CEO, of Social Islami Bank PLC as well as Mr. Mughees Shaukat, Senior Manager, of Capacity Building Program, AAOIFI, and Mr. Syed Siddiq, Senior Manager, of Standards Implementation and Regulatory Authority, AAOIFI, Manama, Bahrain.

The resource persons who lectured in the training course include:  A.K.M Mizanur Rahman, CIPA, CSAA, Head of IBD, Eastern Bank PLC, Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, CSAA, AVP and Muraqib, Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, Muhammed Habibur Rahman, CIPA, VP and Head of Shariah Audit & Inspection, Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC and Kamal Hossain, FCA, CIPA, CSAA, SEVP and Head of ICC, Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC.
