Dr. Md. Anwar Hosain Molla is a highly recognized scholar in Islamic fiqh and jurisprudence. He is an advisor to numerous other Islamic financial institutions. He holds a Ph.D. in “Micro-credit and Zakat in alleviation of poverty: a comparative analysis under department of Da’wah and Islamic Studies” from the Islamic University. He also studied Arabic language and Islamic culture at King Saud University, Riyadh, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for his outstanding academic record.

Dr. Anwar is currently the principal of Uttar Badda Islamia Kamil Madrasa and an adjunct faculty member of Manarat International University. He teaches Hadith Arabic, Aqidah, Fiqh and Islamic Studies. He has authored numerous books and articles in his field. He has also translated the Holy Quran into Bengali.
